Business Tax Slab is an independent reference on Indian income tax. Each page takes one question people actually search, such as a TDS section, an ITR form, a due date or a slab, and answers it in plain words: the rule first, then a table, then a worked example and the mistakes we see most often.
We write for salaried people checking their own tax, small business owners and freelancers, landlords and tenants, and accounts staff who need a rate in a hurry. Calculators on the site run inside your browser, and nothing you type is sent to us or stored.
What we are not
We are not the Income Tax Department, the e-filing portal or a tax practice. We cannot file returns, see your tax records or answer notices for you. To file, pay or download anything, use the official e-filing portal at incometax.gov.in.
